Summer glau

Firefly was Whedon's next hit show, and it's likely that she had an impact. Summer Glau's character, River Tam, was one of the most complex characters that Glau did her best to manage. Tam, as the character from the film was named, was the subject of tests by the government that were intended to help her become a successful assassin. Tam's emotional control was taken away in direct consequence. The show Firefly Glau was able to show off not only her acting ability but also her fighting skills. Her experience as an assassin provided her with the chance to utilize every aspect of her athletic ability. Summer Glau was classically-trained as ballerina. She's also trained in tango and Flamenco, but her foot injury put an end to her dancing career. Firefly featured only one episode however it was an enormous success. Fans of Whedon's were so enthusiastic that Whedon returned to it 2 years after. Summer Glau, however, was still receiving top-quality work.
